Water Distillation SystemOur water distillation system enables us to provide our customers with pure, natural Distilled Water whenever they need it. We have over 30 years experience in the field of water distillation and as a Quality Assured company, our customers recognise the quality of the products we sell. We are able to offer a variety of pack sizes to suit customers requirements and are pleased to quote special prices for Distilled Water in bulk. The water distillation system has been around for centuries and indeed, can be traced back to early civilisations. From the earliest times, Man has required a source of pure, clean water without trace elements, metals, minerals or other impurities. The Water distillation system does not rely on the use of chemicals, additives or preservatives and, as such, is an entirely ‘natural’ system.
We take Deionized Water and heat it in a vessel until it boils. As it starts to boil, it produces water vapour or steam which is thencollected in a separate vessel where it is cooled and condensed. This process returns the water vapour or steam to a liquid state and this liquid is known as Distilled Water. There are numerous Distilled Water uses both in industry and in the home. Distilled Water uses in industry include the enamelling industry where Distilled Water is preferred as it helps to prevent 'bubbling' of enamel which can occur when impurities are present in Tap Water. Other Distilled Water uses in industry include the automotive industry where Distilled Water is used for cooling systems in vehicles and as a ‘top up’ for lead acid batteries. Distilled Water uses in the home include home aquariums, where keepers often use a mixture of Tap Water and Distilled Water in their tanks. This is because Tap Water contains many impurities which could be harmful to fish, but in small amounts as when mixed with Distilled Water, a little of the impurities can actually be beneficial to fish. The trace elements, minerals and metal traces can provide essential nutrients to fish, but only when they are present in miniscule amounts. This is why a mixture of Distilled Water and Tap Water is often preferred in aquariums. As Distilled Water suppliers we are able to offer Distilled Water for sale in 5 litre and 25 litre jericans, and 1,000 litre IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) for those customers who prefer the convenience of buying Distilled Water in bulk. We are happy to supply an individual, a small company, a SME or a large multi-national organisation with bottled Distilled Water and many of our customers return to us time and time again as they recognise the quality of the products we supply. Our water distillation system is a little different to that of other water distillers because we use Deionized Water as a ‘raw water’ material for the distillation process. This means that we start with water of a very high quality, so that after it has been through the water distillation system, the quality of the resultant Distilled Water is exceptionally high.
