As a Distilled Water maker, we know that not all water distillers are the same.  We produce all our Distilled Water in-house using our bespoke distillation process.  Additionally, we use Deionized Water for the distillation process, meaning that the quality of the ‘raw’ material is considerably higher than that of other water distillers.  Additionally, we produce the Deionized Water we use in-house by passing water through the resin beds of our deionization plant.  This effectively neutralizes the positive and negative Ions in the water and results in Deionized Water with very few impurities.  We then use this Deionized water in our distillation process.

As an established Distilled Water make with a proven track record, we are ideally placed to tell you a little about the actual process of distillation, which is one of the oldest methods in the world of producing ‘pure’ water.  The process mimics the production of rainwater in Nature and the process is completely natural, using no additives, preservatives or chemicals.

Water is heated in a vessel until it boils; we use Deionized Water for this.  As the boiling water produces water vapour or steam, it is collected in a separate vessel.  The water vapour is cooled and as it cools, it condenses.  As it condenses it returns to a liquid state.  This liquid is known as Distilled Water.  Distilled Water contains virtually no trace elements, minerals, heavy metals, chemicals or other impurities.
