Water Distillation

We pride ourselves on the quality of our water distillation system.  As a Quality Assured company with over 30 years experience in Distilled Water for sale, we understand the importance of having a reliable, reputable Distilled Water supplier.  Many of our customers return to us again and again for all their water distillation requirements, be it a 5 litre container, a 25 litre jerrican with tap or a 1,000 Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC), we are happy to discuss your specific requirements and can offer generous discounts for Distilled Water in bulk.

When purchasing water distillation products, you might be considering whether you should make Distilled Water.  Although the water distillation process is relatively simple and straightforward, the capital expense together with the cost of ongoing maintenance can be prohibitive and many customers prefer to buy Distilled Water from a Quality Assured company such as ourselves, working to the stringent requirements of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000.

Full traceability, quality of finished goods, attention to details, excellent customer service and excellent value-for-money are just some of the reasons that we maintain long-standing relationships with so many of our customers.  We supply everyone from an individual or a small business to a larger organisation or multi-national industry.  We have customers in the food industry, pharmaceuticals, the oil industry, water treatment plants, power stations and the automotive industry, to name but a few.

We are an environmentally responsible organisation and proud of our environmental achievements.  We are currently in the final stages of accreditation to Environmental Standard ISO 14000 which we expect to achieve within the next couple of weeks.  We are also a recognised Investor in People (IIP) and value and nurture our loyal and hard-working staff.

Distilled Water uses are many and varied, in the home, in the laboratory and in industry.  In the home, one of the most widely known Distilled Water uses is in steam irons.  Tap Water often contains trace elements and minerals which can block the steam vents and reduce the efficiency and life-expectancy of the iron.  Distilled Water contains almost no contaminants and is therefore the water of choice for many steam ironers.

In industry there are many uses for Distilled Water including as a ‘top up’ for lead-acid batteries in the automotive industry and in engine cooling systems where the contaminants in Tap Water could cause serious harm and reduce lifespan.

In the laboratory, scientists and chemists have been using Distilled Water for many years, particularly in the production of standard solution where accuracy is essential.  Other high quality and high purity solutions demand the use of Distilled Water because of its lack of impurities and the fact that is presents minimal risk of contaminants such as trace elements, minerals and heavy metals.  In the lab, Distilled Water is also used for calibration in density metres and in HPLC and AA analysis where the specialised analytical processes require water distillation of extremely high purity.
